The External Sales Representative works in team with the internal sales representative. It is his/her responsibility to ensure excellent service and customer relationship for a fixed territory or customer’s base.
Opening new accounts (30%) and extend the assortment portfolio with defined existing accounts (70%) is part of the daily work.
Supporting customer satisfaction and loyalty whilst moving the customer to the most efficient sales channel (e.g. online) is very important.
He uses the phone as his/her primary communication tool, but also travels for 1 to 2 weeks per month in order to build relationships.
