What exactly is working time reduction?

For construction workers, 12 additional days are added to the vacation balance each year due to work time reduction, earned by working 40 hours per week, 2 hours more than the norm. These ADV days are designated for the Christmas holidays and bridge days throughout the year. 

As a temporary worker, am I entitled to ADV days?

This applies equally to temp workers and permanent employees. To use an ADV day, you must have actually worked as a temporary worker in the construction industry on the previous day. Even if it was your very first working day, you are entitled to an ADV day.

How, when and by whom are ADV days paid?

Payment for these days is handled twice a year by the sectoral fund Constructiv.
